Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael J. Spencer Sr. and Edna D. (Hackett) Spencer.
He is survived by his sisters Patricia E. Spencer of North Providence and Sheila Jarvis of Smithfield.
He loved Rock & Roll and Country Western music and enjoyed going to live concerts. Jack was also an avid football fan and liked watching professional and college games.
Jack preferred walking over driving and was often seen walking in the neighborhood and to Dunkin Donuts.
Jack’s family would like to thank Betty Barros the Alzheimer’s program director and her compassionate and caring staff at Lincolnwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
His visitation will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St, Providence.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
