North Providence Mildred "Millie" Cameron, 91, of Wild Street, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017, at Golden Crest Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Gordon A. Cameron.Born in Providence, and raised in the Smith Hill neighborhood, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Gallagher) Devine.Millie was a secretary for the Adjutant General of the Rhode Island National Guard for Many years, and was a faithful communicant of Saint Patrick Church.She leaves her son, Mark J. Cameron (PPD) and his wife Beth, and her granddaughter, Tara Cameron. She was a sister of the James Devine Jr. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, at 9:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited.
