Nellie (DiStefano) Bianco, 88, passed away February 12, 2014. She was the wife of the late Domenic Bianco. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Loretta (Cambio) DiStefano.
Nellie was the mother of Donald Bianco and his wife Cheryl; grandmother of Nicholas Bianco and his wife Jolene, and Marissa Bianco; great-grandmother of Domenic; and sister of Nicholas DiStefano, Jr., Sylvester DiStefano, Robert DiStefano, Gloria Orlandi and the late Jane Zannini. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
As a decorator, Nellie worked for Mr. Christmas and Seasonal Specialty Stores. She was instrumental in seasonal decorations at Our Lady of Grace Church, where she was a communicant and a member of the St. Ann Society.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church Memorial Fund, 4 Lafayette Street, Johnston, RI 02919.
