Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Bernardino and Carmella (Imondi) DiNobile; husband of Josephine (Capraro) DiNobile for 63 years; father of Bernard V. DiNobile and wife Harriet, David J. DiNobile and wife Diane, Nicholas J. DiNobile Jr. and companion Michael; grandfather of 5; great-grandfather of 2; brother of Robert and Louis DiNobile and the late Anna Salerno and Florence Silva.
Mr. DiNobile had retired as a crane operator for 44 years from the M.A. Gammino Construction Co. – I.U.O.E. Local 57. He was also a former member of the Elks Lodge in Smithfield, the North Providence Senior Center and a member of the Geneva Volunteer Fire Association.
Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by interment in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
