Norman E. Silva, 73, of Providence, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Elmwood Health Center in Providence. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph Silva, Sr. and Marion Baker. Norman was a fun loving person who will be missed by his family and friends. He leaves his siblings, Caroline Correia, Joseph Silva, Jr., Lois Mitchell, Walter Baker, Diane Baker, and Lorraine Towns, all of Providence; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Norman was the brother of the late Thurston Silva, Livingston Baker, Gregory Baker, Margaret Shakir, Elaine Baker and Roxanne Baker. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.
