Ovan Arakelian, 86, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, in Providence. Born in North Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Krikor and Rose (Haytaian) Arakelian. He leaves his sister, Sr. Helen Arakelian, of Framingham, MA and many nieces and nephews. His funeral with visitation will begin on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 8:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a funeral service a 10:00 am, in Saints Sahag and Mesrob Armenian Church, 70 Jefferson Street, Providence.
