

Phyllis was the devoted wife of the late Angelo Santurri for 27 years and later of the late Joseph Matrullo for 32 years. Both marriages were central chapters in her long and meaningful life, filled with family, resilience, and love.
Phyllis was the loving mother of Sandra Carlino and her husband Mario; Anthony Santuri and his wife Debra; Debra Romano and her partner Smokey; and Linda Cannata and her husband Robert. She was the beloved sister of Anna and the late Mary (Conti) Romano.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Phyllis spent many years as a machine operator in the textile industry, working for Worcester Textile before her retirement. She was admired for her strength, resilience, and the deep devotion she had for her family.
Phyllis was blessed with a large and loving family. She was a proud grandmother of 11, great grandmother of 13, and great great grandmother of 3, each of whom brought her immense joy throughout her long life.
Her family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff of Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the compassionate care and support they provided to Phyllis during her stay.

Phyllis will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet perseverance, and the love she shared so generously with those around her. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and inspired. Funeral services were private.
