Dear Diane-- I am so, so sorry to hear that Randy passed. Life is far too short. I just learned; and I am in shock. He was such a good man--you all went through so much over the years. I think of you both often--driving by the armory, Asylum Rd, etc.... It is a terrible loss. I had very much hoped to catch up with you both again. So sorry to hear of Randy's passing. He was a fabulous person who welcomed me to the MPs with open arms back in 1997. Such a terrible loss and way too soon. RIP Randy

Diane, I am so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. He was a good soldier and will be sorely missed by many of us who served with him. I know he will be communicating with my Dottie and they will be telling many stories of the good old days. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

John and I still can't believe this has happened. We are having a hard time getting past this and expect him to drive up on his ATV and be here. John thinks the white deer was Randy's "angel deer".

Dear Dianne, I just received notice of Randy's passing. I can't tell you of the many great times we all shared especially with the 1043D in Germany as well as in the states. He will e remembered for his upright of character, his loyalty, his generous good will to all of his friends, his patriotism and most of all his devotion to his family.

Dear Diane and Family, You have my heartfelt sympathy. Randy was a real man and special friend and neighbor. He will be sorely missed. My fondest memories are the most recent: teasing Diane at poker, taking the boat out of the pond,swapping "fish stories." The pizza party for friends. I feel that he allowed me into his life in a very loving way. I thank God that I am blessed to know you,Diane. Randy will always be in my heart!

Our deepest condolences, both me and my husband (SSG, Ret) John G. Carmen whom also knew Randy, go out to all of Randy's family and close friends. I knew Randy when he was also in the same unit with me, 43d MP Brigade, as our Admin. NCO, and he was totally on top of his job all the time. Although I didn't know him personally, knowing him while in the National Guard regarded my respect for his professionalism and his respect for me was returned congenially. John & I are saddened by his passing at such a young age, but with the Good Lord's graces, he now rests in peace in His Kingdom.

Both me and my husband, John G. Carmen, are saddened to hear about Randy's passing. I knew Randy while I was in his unit, 43d Military Police Brigade, when he was the Admin. Personnel NCO, and I was the S3 Military Police Circulation Control NCO working under SGM Moravec. Randy always treated me with respect, as both of us as the same rank, kept my records straight and notified me of any updates needed. He was always on top of his job. I retired the same year as he did at the same rank, so we have that in common. My condolences go out to his closest family and friends and anyone who knew him personally also my condolences to them. I don't know what the circumstances of his passing entailed, but with the Good Lord's graces he is resting now in peace. 

Al and I are so sorry for your lost. Randy and you went through so much together. I am sure Randy is still with you in your heart and he will help you get through this. You and Randy are in my daily prays.

Diane and Family, Randy was a great friend. Our friendship spanned more than 50 years. Actually, he was more than a friend, he was the brother I never had. He was kind, gentle and caring, devoted to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. God Bless.

Diane, I was very sad to hear the news about Randy. I was outside today cutting wood and was thinking about him. The last time we saw each other we were talking about cutting and burning wood. I was very fortunate to have worked and served with him. Randy had a great sense of humor and made me laugh. He was the real deal. He will be in my prayers Diane as will you and your family. Prayers and condolences to the Stadelbaeur family. As a private/specialist, I was honored and blessed to have worked with than, SGT Randy Stadelbaeur in the 115th MP Co. Sgt. Stadelbaeur leadership sytle was pretty simple---he tell it like it is, and if you didnt like it----to bad. And more important this was not just to those junior to him-----but senior to him. A style that didnt help in achieving higher rank than sergeant first class, but higher rank he was more deserving of and more qualified than many. RIP SFC Randy Stadelbaeur
