Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Eugene and Catherine (Rocchio) Pinossi. He was the husband of Irene A. (Manco) Pinossi for 61 years.
He was the father of Steven R. and Paul T. Pinossi; brother of the late Ellen Mochelski and Evelyn Pinossi.
Mr. Pinossi retired from Sarra Engineering Co. and was a life-time member of Local 51. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by interment with Military Honors in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
