He was the husband of the late Theresa K. Hudson and longtime companion of Patricia Brown. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Helen M. Hudson.
Richard was a taxi driver for many years before retiring. He loved spending time and having fun with his beloved family. He will be greatly missed by all.
He was the loving father of Richard A. Hudson, Patricia Hudson Brown, Michelle Brown and Scott Hudson Brown. He also leaves nine cherished grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He was the brother of the late Linda Ferland.
His funeral services and burial will be private.
