Richard J. Morrisroe

Richard is survived by his sons, Joseph Morrisroe, and Thomas Morrisroe ( Keri-Lyn), daughters, Marita Phillips (David), and Mary-Jo Trimmer (Bo), grandchildren, Michael (Alyse), Steven, Dylan, Jake and Monica, great granddaughter, Evelyn, and his sister, Mary Whalen. He was predeceased by Margaret Morrisroe and their son, Andrew.

Richard was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a Stores Department Manager at Narragansett Electric Company for 40 years before his retirement. Richard loved his Irish heritage and was an avid Red Sox & Patriots fan, but his greatest joy in life were his children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter.

Visitation, Monday, 4 – 7 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Funeral Tuesday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am, in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
