Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Robert and Margaret (Croke) Arnold.
He was the devoted father of Natalie Arnold, Adam Arnold, and Alison Rao-Valdez; cherished grandfather of Brenna Arnold, Lauren and Andres Valdez, and Rachelle, Jewelle, and Isabelle Arruda; loving great-grandfather of Romari Thompson; and brother to Susan Young, Matthew Arnold and Gary Arnold. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
His funeral and burial will be private.
