

Robert K. Fish, Sr., 79, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Maureen (Howe) Fish. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond D. and Blanche E. (Miller) Fish. Bob was employed as a maintenance worker at Rhode Island College for 10 years, before retiring. He was proud to have held over 50 jobs in his lifetime. Bob loved baseball, horse racing, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. He also coached North Providence Little League for many years. He leaves his children, Joyce Williams, and her husband, Ronald, of North Providence, Denise O’Leary, and her husband, James, of Norton, MA and Robert K. Fish, Jr., and his wife, Joanna, of Oregon; seven grandchildren, Brittany Williams, Joseph Fish, Jessica Williams, Katelyn Holdcroft, Lauren and Ethan O’Leary, and Samantha Fish; and one great granddaughter, Anastasia Holdcroft. He was also the brother of the late Charles Miller, Donald and Raymond Fish, Marilyn Martin, and June Sisker. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bob’s family on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
