Robert Karl McLeod

WARWICK - McLEOD, Robert K., 75, of Fox Ridge Crescent, died Tuesday at R.I. Hospital. He was the husband of Betty E. (Pelrine) Holden-McLeod, to whom he was married for 12 years, and the late Claire G. (Bowen) McLeod. Born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Karl and Mary (Hutcheon) McLeod, he lived in Warwick for the past 55 years. He was an accountant for the Hart Engineering Co. for 15 years and the Arnold Kilberg Co. for 8 years, and for the last 5 years with the C & S Pool Co. He was a graduate of Bryant University, and Hampton Preparatory School. He was a member and former trustee of the Hope Congregational Church. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and was an avid golfer. Besides his wife he leaves a son Scott A. McLeod of Narragansett, and a daughter Nancy A. Morgan of North Kingstown; two step sons Bruce W. Holden of Rochester, MA and Edward E. Holden of Warwick, and his beloved grandchildren David, Robert, Alex, Jessie, and Katie. He was the brother of the late Constance Brayman. His funeral will be Friday at 10am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm.
