Born in Providence in the Fall of 1940, Robert was the son of the late David Houston, Sr. and Agnes (Robertson) Mills.
Robert was employed as a Tool Maker for the Spidel Corporation prior to his retirement.
He is survived by a son, Brian R. Mills and his wife Deana of Greenville, RI, a daughter, Heather M. Braun and her husband Andrew of Darien, CT, three grandchildren, Juliana, Logan, and Declan, a brother, Thomas Mills and his wife Eileen, a sister-in-law, Johanna Mills, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, David H. Mills, Jr.
Visitation Tuesday, May 10, from 9 – 10:30 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Graveside services in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
