Roberta P. Moody Notargiacomo

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Catherine (Coleman) Moody and had been the wife of the late Joseph Notargiacomo.

Roberta cherished spending time with friends and family, her greatest joy being her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roberta was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed cooking as well as sewing and other crafts.

She was the beloved mother of Phillip Notargiacomo and his wife Sharon, Edward Notargiacomo and his wife Justyna, Claudia M. Hitzemann and her late husband Wayne, Joanne Volpe and her husband Stephen, and Catherine Dempsey and her husband James; grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 4; sister of Stewart “Bill” Moody, Donald Moody, Lois Stroker, Margaretta Major, Marcella Moody, Linda Black and the late Michael Moody and Judy Smith.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. with a funeral service on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by interment in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
