Roland M. DeCesare, 66, passed away January 1, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Edith (DiBiasio) DeCesare for 43 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John M. and Annette T. (Falvo) DeCesare; brother of Judith Parker and her husband Michael and the late James DeCesare.
Roland was a member of Teamsters Local 251 for 30 years and also a member of several other organizations.
Visitation and funeral will be held Saturday, 9-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-9376.
