Ron was the loving father of Ronald J. Knox Jr. and his wife Cynthia, and Alan J. Knox and his wife Trish; and the cherished grandfather of Andie, Connor, Brian and Cameron.
He had served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division and was a member of Teamsters Local 493.
Visitation and funeral will be held Saturday 11-11:45 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
