Ronald Norman LaPlante

He was born July 19, 1938 in Providence, RI to the late Armand Lionel and Marjorie Marie LaPlante. He was a proud Air Force Veteran of Moody Air Force Base, Delta mechanic and a very loving, and devoted father, spouse, son, brother and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Rose LaPlante of Valdosta; his daughter, Rhonda Michelle LaPlante of Valdosta; his sons, Christopher Norman LaPlante and Michael Joseph LaPlante of Suwanee, GA, and Gregory Matthew LaPlante of Valdosta; daughter-in-law, Lynn Blasingame LaPlante; sister, Linda Adamo of Smithfield, RI; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. His brother Gary LaPlante preceded him in death.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by inurnment with Military Honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
