Rose V. Murphy

Cranston: Murphy, Rose V.(Boule), 91, of Park Ave, passed away on Monday at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Matthew J. Murphy. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Mitchell) Boule. Rose was a former member of the Washington Park Senior Center. She enjoyed cards,playing bingo and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Kathleen M. Cook and her husband William of Cranston, John W. Murphy and his wife Christine of North Providence, James J. Murphy and Joan M. Murphy, both of Providence,hergrandchildren, Matthew, William, Jill, Leanne, Michaela, and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Arielle, Layla, and Addison, her brother, James Boule of Narragansett. She was the sister of the late Arthur and Joseph Boule. Her Funeral and Visitation will be held on Wednesday at 9:00am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence.Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
