Salvatore E. Palazzo, 90, passed away February 16, 2016. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Bruneau) Palazzo. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Concetta (Bosco) Palazzo.
He was the father of Salvatore E. Palazzo Jr, Peter A. Palazzo and his wife Wendy, Christine A. Simpson and her husband Alan, Diane T. Cabral and her husband John, and Angela M. Lavigne and her husband Gerard; grandfather of Michael, Sarah, Stephany, Joylene, Aaron, Christopher, Jessica, David, Michelle and Jason; great-grandfather of Douglas, Liam, Matteson, Brett, Ciera, Chase, Isamu, Weston and Andrea. He was also the brother of the late Antimo, Angelina, Domenic, Nicholas, Assunta, Antonio, Jachino, Francis, Bella, Gennaro and John.
Funeral service and burial with military honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
