Santiago was a vacuum former for J. Printing of Warwick for over 20 years before retiring. He was an avid gardener and woodworker. He also enjoyed model trains and fixing lawnmowers, tractors and bicycles.
He was the father of Edgar, Edwin, Santiago, Jr., Miriam and Liduvina; grandfather of Marya, Mia, Michele, Anthony, Mariana, Marisa, Austin, Amanda, Avalon and Marina and great grandfather of Alana, Caleb, Elysia and Lincoln. He was also brother to 12 siblings.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION MONDAY 4 - 7 pm. For online condolences, visit www.romanofuneralhome.com.
