Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael J. Tenerella Sr. and Barbara M. (Walsh) Tenerella.
Stephen was an employee of General Dynamics Electric Boat for 47 years. In 2021, he retired and went on to live out his dream of moving to Florida and enjoying the sunshine on the beach and on the golf course.
When he wasn’t playing golf, he loved his time with his children and especially his two grandsons.
Stephen was also an avid sports fan. He spent his early years at Electric Boat playing on the company’s softball team. He also enjoyed professional sports - he never missed a golf tournament, a Cowboys game or a Red Sox game.
He was the loving father of Kaitlin M. Huth (Jacob) and his triplets Andrew F. Tenerella (Bianca), Jessica M. Tenerella, and Alex M. Tenerella (Nicole); cherished grandfather of Liam Huth and Enzo Tenerella; and brother of Michael J. Tenerella Jr. (Theresa).
