Thomas A. Langton, 87, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, in Providence. He was the husband of Alice (Clark) Langton.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas E. and Ellen (Connolly) Langton.Tom worked in sales in the hardware supply industry for many years. He graduated from LaSalle Academy and was an avid sports fan.Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Ellen B. Langton, of Providence; a step son, Peter Clark, of Canada; and many friends. He was the brother of the late Mary T. Langton, who passed away in January and step father of the late Ian and Gary Clark.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 am, in Saint Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Russell J.
