SWANSEA - McCRAE, Thomas D., 64, of G.A.R. Highway and formerly of Baptist Street, died Sunday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Providence, a son of Josephine E. (Williams) McCrae of Swansea and the late Alexander F. McCrae Sr., he had lived in Swansea for the past 50 years. Mr. McCrae was a machinist, working for various companies for many years before retiring in 2003. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman in the Provincetown area. Besides his mother he leaves his children Alexander F. McCrae III of Easton and James R. McCrae of Swansea; his brother Richard E. McCrae of Swansea; a sister Geraldine Trudelle of Swansea, and his former wife Wendy (Walsh) McCrae of North Attleboro, and three grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Alexander F. McCrae, Jr. and Joan McCrae. The funeral and burial will be private.
