A dedicated educator, Thomas was an associate professor at Johnson and Wales University for over 27 years, where he inspired countless students.
Thomas was a beloved uncle to Alison Douglas and her husband Raul, and Catherine Glavin and her husband Joel Baeza. He was also a proud great-uncle to Isabell Douglas. He leaves behind his uncle, Edward Borkowski and his wife Katherine, his brother-in-law, Thomas Glavin, and is predeceased by his sister, Deborah Glavin.
His kindness, intellect, and commitment to his family will be remembered by all who knew him. Thomas’ legacy as both a teacher and a loving family member will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 9th from 10:00-11:00 am followed by his funeral service at 11:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
