Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Elliano) Scully.
Tom was a truck driver for many years and along with his wife, he owned and operated a Subway Sandwich Shop before retiring. His greatest passion was racing cars at the Seekonk Speedway. He had 20 title wins. He also enjoyed family vacation cruises.
He was the father of Thomas M. Scully, Jr. and his fiancé Amanda Brassard, Stephanie Bruneau and her husband Scott, Sr. and Stacy Scully, grandfather of Taylor, Thomas III, Jaci and Kaitlyn and great grandfather of Ezio. He was also the brother of Mary Ellen Cerullo and the late Linda Ann Nardone and Colleen Frances Loffredo.
Visitation for Tom will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 7:30 PM. Please omit flowers.
