Timothy J. Finucane, age 67 of Lucille St., passed away on May 1, 2013 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Maria (DiCicco) Finucane, they were married for over 42 years.Born in Queens, NY he was the son of the late Timothy and Catherine (Mitchell) Finucane. Before retirement, Mr. Finucane was employed with both the City of Providence and Cranston as Deputy Administrator for job training partnership for over 24 years. He was also employed at CCRI for over 10 years with the Lead and Abatement Program, retiring in 2008. He was also a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family. Besides his wife of over 42 years, he leaves two sons, Timothy Finucane of Lincoln and Anthony Finucane of Providence. He was the brother of Kevin Finucane of Rock Tavern, NY and Maureen Ruisi of Queens, NY. Grandfather of Sophie and Nico Finucane. He was also the brother of the late Kathleen Finucane. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 8 am to 10 am in The Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith St., Providence. His Burial will be private.
