Walter E. Peck

JOHNSTONWalter E. Peck, 68, of Morgan Avenue, died unexpectedly Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Angela Leone Peck. Born in Sharon, CT, he was the son of the late Louis and Naomi (Beach) Peck. Walter was a self employed Financial Advisor; and spent most of his career selling insurance and securities. Walter loved the challenge of finding the best options for his customers. He was an avid volunteer and supporter of Jerry's Kids. Walter spent many years doing Thanksgiving meal delivery for Saint Patrick's Word of God Parish in Providence. Walter had a great love for the Providence Fraternal Order of Police (FOPA) where he served as secretary for a number of years. Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Paul Peck, of Lincoln and daughter, Kerri Peck - Bratcher, of North Smithfield; his wife's children, Robin Leone and Bonnie Liotti, of MA; devoted grandfather of seven, Dylan, Tyler, Jacob, Dylan, Marcus, Christina, and Michael. Walter also leaves his dog, Gianni, and his cat, Boo. The family wishes to express special thanks to Mark, of Ribs and Company in Johnston for his love and kindness, and to all the employees and customers from Ribs for their friendship and support. His funeral will be held on Monday, at 8:45am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Sunday, 3-7pm. Flowers are appreciated.
