Cranston, Pace, William R., 76, of Oaklawn Ave, passed away on Monday at his home. He was the husband of Yvonne R. (Patnaude) Pace. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William F. and Grace E. (Sousa) Pace. William was a surveying engineer for R. A. Cataldo Engineering for many years. He was Korean War veteran serving with the Marine Corps. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, William R. Pace, Jr., two brothers, Charles D. and James E. Pace. He was the grandfather of William R. Buchanan and many other grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Manni. Visiting hours, will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the RI Veterans Cemetery Columbarium Chapel, 321 South County Trail, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations to the John Hope Settlement House, 1 Thomas P. Whitten Way, Providence, RI 02903, will be appreciated.
