Alice Irene Garduno

Alice I. Garduno, 96, was called by the Lord on May 26, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben; son, Andy; daughter-in-law, Barbara; brothers, Edwin, Henry and her twin, Emerson; grandson, Lonnie Montez; and special friend, Fred Jiminez. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Berni (Tony) Perea, Laura (Tim) Roberts and Kathy (Carlos) Smoot; son, Del (Maria) Garduno; sisters, Albina (Smiley, deceased) Garcia, Theresa (Jack, deceased) Lovins and Judy (Felix, deceased) Duran; brother, Amadeo (Gina) Lopez; sixteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and good friends, especially Betty Gonzales, who was like a daughter to her. Alice loved to gamble in Nevada and Cripple Creek; and most of all, she loved family gatherings. Her hobbies were bowling, listening to Country and Mexican music, and watching the Rockies and Broncos. There will be no viewing, and cremation has taken place at her request. Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home, 329 Goodnight Avenue, followed by inurnment at Roselawn Cemetery next to Ben.
