Anna May was born to Rhoda and Arlie Hoff in Pueblo on June 4, 1934. She was the fourth of six children. She led an incredibly full life, had a big heart for helping others, was strong willed, and was feisty in the best way. One of her favorite childhood past-times was stomping barefoot in mud puddles. She loved animals throughout her life, although she did not enjoy chasing her mother's chickens. At the age of 16, she met the love of her life, Bob, while working at Maid Rite and they were married six months later. They began their married life together at Camp Roberts in California while he served in the U. S. Army. Their love for each other never waned, as evidenced by their five children and 41 years of marriage.
Once Bob passed away and she retired from Safeway as Head Baker, Anna May enjoyed reading, crafting, gardening, traveling, playing bingo, baking, volunteering at Parkview in the newborn nursery and going to Cripple Creek. In her more recent years, in addition to spending time with family, she spent her time with her good friends at Tammy and Marty's as one of the members of the "Golden Girls". Even at the age of 90, she enjoyed being pampered and getting her mani/pedis routinely.
She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Rhoda Hoff, siblings Jim Hoff, Ina Carlton, Bertie Mattarocci, Bud Hoff, William Hoff, Husband Bob Langdon, daughter Sandra Langdon, and son-in-laws Stan Bieker, and Robert Warren.
