Arthur Valadez

Arturo was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Aragon; father, Juan Valadez; first wife, Theresa Armijo; son, John Anthony Valadez, and brother Henry Salazar.

He is survived by his wife, Celia Valadez; sister, Angie; children, Marie, Jeanie, Johnny; Step children, Chris, Debra, Mark, Geralyn, and Karol; adopted children, Shannon and Julie; grandchildren, Meloney, Michelle, Monique, Mike & Matt, Raymond, Isaac, Gavinn, Jordan, Grace, BellaRose; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-great-grandchildren.

Arthur was a loving husband, devoted provider and father, cherished grandfather and fun uncle. He enlisted in the army and served his country in WWII. Arturo was incredibly hard-working, independent, loving, wise, honorable, caring, stubborn, and full of life. He took pride in all the projects he had going at home and in the yard. A lifelong bowler and dear friend and he never turned down a game of rummy or dominoes. His legacy will continue in those he left behind. Forever in our hearts and greatly missed.

An interment for Arthur will take place Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 9:15am at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
