Barbara Ann DeLeal

Barbara Ann (Miller) DeLeal beloved wife, mother and sister, departed this life February 5, 2024 at 74 yrs of age. She was born July 26, 1949 to Arthur and Stephanie Samples in Pueblo, Colorado. Barbara graduated from Central High School in 1967 and continued her education at the University of Southern Colorado, receiving a BSW degree in 1985. She began her career with the Colorado Correctional System in 1986, where she met and married her husband of 35 years, Ray DeLeal on May 1st 1988. They retired and moved to Colorado City where they spent many happy years in the Colorado Mountains. Ray and Barbara loved to travel and spent time cruising the world. When they weren't cruising they enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas.

Barbara is predeceased by her loving husband Ray; daughter, Jennifer Miller; son, Joe Miller; her parents Arthur and Stephanie Samples and brother David Samples.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; Sisters Kay Elliott, Marilyn (Dennis) Moran, Karen Parker, Diane (Shawn) King, her lifelong friend Becky (Paul) Stringer, who spent endless hours of service and caring for Barbara during her illness.

Nieces and nephews Jim, Steve and Tony Samples, Harry and Matt Elliott, Melissa (R.J.) Guillen, Megan (David) Korinck, Daniel (Abri) Parker, Nicki (Joe) Parker and Jonathan King.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
