

Barbara Long, 73, passed away Nov. 1, 2010.
Born “Barbara Lee Brown,” she grew up in and around Red Lodge, marrying Richard “Dick” Lucara, also of Red Lodge. Their four daughters were all born in Red Lodge, and the family was active in the community.
In 1969, Barbara moved to Wyoming. She was a self taught bookkeeper, at one point having her own company in Casper. In 2005 she retired from her position as VP of Finance for a nutraceutical company in Prescott Arizona, and settled in Pueblo, Colo., to be nearer her daughters.
Barbara made good, lasting friendships wherever she went. She enjoyed playing cards and crafting with family and friends and always had a needlework project close at hand.
Barbara is survived by her beloved aunt and uncle, Louise and Earl Black of Belfry; daughter, Michelle Springfield (Larry Altepeter), and their children, Sean, Corey and Jeremiah; daughter, Dori (Cris) Jones, and their son, Eric; daughter, Lora (Herb) Schautschick, and their daughter, Crystal; daughter, Bonnie Lucara (Gene Hayden), and their children, Hanna, Erin, Shannon and Graham.
