 This dear lady will be truly missed by many. I always looked up to her and still hope I have half the energy she did through her many years. She was so thoughtful.  She came to visit me after my back surgery and talked to me for about an hour and helped me forget about my pain. When my sister died she gave her time to us by helping us go through her home and all of her things to pack them up. She always had time for everyone. Doug fondly remembers being called every year at Halloween time to come get his goodies. She prepared cookies and popcorn balls for him and he was just an ornery neighbor. I remember the huge Easter egg hunts at her home in my early years and many more childhood memories. Auntie Bev we love you and will remember you always.

So sorry to hear of Bev's passing.  I bowled in the same league with her and her sisters for several years.  She was a fun person to be around.  Sorry I cannot attend her service.  I know you will all miss her.

My sincere condolences to Bev's family .I met Bev years ago while bowling I then had the pleasure of doing her hair for many years  until i took an early retirement ,My thoughts and prayers go out to the family

I will miss you so much...when I first met you (when Chris & I got married), you immediately liked me, because I was a Kansas girl (like you), ha, ha!  Thank you for all the beautiful knitted sweaters you made me and all the batches of peanut butter cookies you made Chris.  You were the best mother-in-law I could have ever asked for....I felt at times you were my real "mom" from all the love and support you showed me!  What a talented lady you were with your expert sewing skills, knitting, gardening and craft projects...I learned a lot from you.  I know you are resting peacefully in heaven.  I love you and miss you so much!

A story I'd like to share about Mom was her creative nature.  As some of you know, she built a beautiful Rock Garden also, at the house we kids grew up in, out on Goodnight Ave, west of the city Park.  During the summer, she would fix us kids some sandwiches and pile us all on the ol' 1960 Blue Chevy Station Wagon and head up to the hills above Wetmore, CO.  Along the road just west of Wetmore, there is a stream that follows the road, she would pull off along the road when she spotted the perfect Moss Rock and have us boys go pick it up and put in in the back of the car.  We continued up Hard-Scrabble road until we had loaded the entire back of the poor ol' station wagon full of various sizes of moss rocks.  Once we could not get any more rocks in the car, we'd stop along the stream for lunch and eat our sandwiches and play along the stream, after lunch, we boys would try to push each other into the stream and get wet.  Sometimes Mom would even let us bring our fishing poles so we could catch a few brook trout, she would even let us take a couple trout home for dinner once in a while!
Getting back to the Rock Garden, Mom worked on that Rock Garden over a couple summers until she had it all finished up, and I must say, looking back, that Rock Garden was beautiful!
I'm sure we must have hauled several tons of moss rock out of the hillsbut that's what Mom wanted to do, and we all had fun doing it.  She was a great MOM to us kids!  Thank you MOM for all the great memories, we love and miss you!  Give our brother Dan a hug for us!
