Billy O. Thornton, 77, went to be with the Lord January 4, 2011. He is survived by his children Perry (Denai) Thornton, Chris (Tom) Hinson, Nick Thornton and Kari (Pat) Rodrigues; grandchildren Patrick and Nicole Thornton, Brynn and Ryleigh Hinson, Maelea Thornton, Mitchell and Marcus Rodrigues; great grandchildren Jaydlyn and Ayden; sister Shirley (Phillip) Giannetto; special friend Jim McGinnis and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and his buddies at Casper’s Donut Shop and the Centennial class of ’54 lunch group. Billy was preceded in death by his wife Leala Thornton and his parents Oliver and Juanita Thornton. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going to Cripple Creek, collecting antiques and working on cars. Billy never met a stranger and will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice through the Funeral Home office.
