nieces and nephews.
Jean loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed the holidays when all were together. She loved to cook and bake for everyone. These were her happiest moments and expressions of her unconditional love for all.
She was a Beulah Valley resident for the past 68 years, where she had many friends. She welcomed the visits and phone calls from any and all and never met a stranger. Her kindness and selfless nature touched many. Everyone was truly special to her, and she saw the good in everyone. She was a remarkable lady and an inspiration to many.
Jean graduated from Central High School and in later years returned when she dedicated her career to School District 60, working at Central High School, Beulah Heights Elementary, and Eastwood Heights which is now known as Baca Elementary until she retired in 1994.
She was strong in her Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Beulah for 63 years. In the most recent years, she continued to enjoy Sunday Mass in the comfort of her home and was thankful for the Parishioners who would bring her communion every Sunday. Special thanks to all these folks, as well as everyone that telephoned her or stopped by to visit with her.
