Christine Ann Soudek

Christine Ann Soudek, age 62, of Pueblo, Colorado departed this world and walked into the embrace of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 23, 2022, just days before her 63rd birthday.

She was born in Pueblo, CO on November 4th, 1959 to loving parents, Frank and Johnna Soudek. A few years later she was joined by her brothers, Jeff and Jim. As a family they enjoyed camping trips in the mountains of Colorado. In her adult years, she expanded her love of travel by visiting Mexico, Canada and Fiji. She traversed this country from coast to coast with her parents, joined by the furry family members, Mindy and Duffy. May trips were taken in the "Ole blue van".

Chris had a heart of gold, which was often displayed when working with children and older folks. She worked as a nanny, daycare provider, "reading Grandma" at her former elementary school and in nursing homes. She loved being "Grandma Chris". Children brought her so much joy.

Chris had many past times. She was a crafter, crocheted, knitted, sewed and many other fun crafts. She loved to do coloring on her tablet and reading "Chicken Soup for the Soul". She was a lover of animals, especially dogs. We're sure that all the animals that have went before her, have ran to greet her up in Heaven!

She suffered through most of her adult life with health issues, but endured it all with a smile and a shrug of her shoulders. She never let it slow her down and was so energetic. Our little Energizer Bunny.

Chris was preceded in death by, her precious mother Johnna, brother Jeff ,grandparents Joe and Susanna Soudek, John and Catherine Barney.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Frank Soudek, brother Jim (Michele) Soudek, big "sister" and aunt, Pam (Claude), niece, Abby and numerous cousins - all whom loved her dearly.

Viewing will be held Thursday, November 3rd, 2022 from 5-7 with Rosary to follow at Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004. A funeral mass November 4th, her birthday, at 10:00am at Shrine of St. Therese with Interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 Hwy 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005.
