Clara "Joyce" Alys King was born on July 30th, 1938 to Edith and James Phye in Pueblo, CO. She was the beautiful bride of Doss King and they had four adorable children before he passed. Clara was a lifelong member of the Ordway Baptist for over fifty years. She worked as a US postal worker in Ordway, CO where she raised her children. She enjoyed being in God's creation; mainly tending to her yard, bird watching, and exploring the outdoors. Clara was a world traveler, with her favorite country being Ireland. Above all else, Clara loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grand-babies and great-great grand-babies.
Clara fell asleep in peace on December 14th, 2023 in Colorado Springs, CO. She is welcomed by her parents, long-time missed husband, Doss and her two loved grandsons, Conrad DeLaTorres and David DeLaTorres.
She is remembered by her beloved sister, Nancy and Nancy's son David.

Her Great Grandchildren, Kreig Mann, Alexis Mann, Gabriel Mann, Davina Carrillo, Xavier Lovato, Ben Williams, Maclovia (Peter) Wiza, Damon DelaTorres, Araceli Ruiz, Juaquin Ruiz, Conrad DelaTorres, Davian Lujan, Scarlett, Evelyn Cawley, Makayla Bastain, Shawn Bastain, and Racheal Bastain.
Great Great grandchildren, Noelle Trujillo, and James Lovato.
Funeral service will be at 11 AM, on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 at Imperial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
