Conrad Lucero joined the love of his life, Patricia Casias, on Valentine’s Day 2022. They were married 50 years. He was born in Cucharas, Colorado, October 22, 1931, to Silvano and Eufemia Lucero. He served 4 years in the Air Force and worked 35 years for the CF&I. He was a St. Francis parishioner for 66 years. His life values were a testament of his faith. Conrad was an avid outdoorsman/marksman and took great pleasure in sharing his hunting and fishing stories. He was known for his witty sense of humor and infectious smile. He was proceed in death by his wife, daughter Patty, and both parents. Survived by children, Mary Theresa (David) Ginther, Kathy (Joe) Martinez, Tony (Tammy) Lucero, Conrad Lucero, Sylvia (Steve) Brandl, James Lucero, Juan (Tina) Lucero, Chuck (Lisa) Lucero; 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters, Eleanor Calderon and Lil Lucero; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Socksie. Viewing on 2/23/22 from 3-5 PM, followed by the Rosary, 5-6 PM, at TG McCarthy. Funeral Mass on 2/24/22 at 10 AM at St. Francis. Interment at Cucharas Cemetery. Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
