Delores Janet Gonzalez

Delores Janet Gonzalez, 73, stepped into God’s presence on November 17, 2018. Affectionately known as Lollie, she was born on December 20, 1944 to John and Patsy Arellano. Waiting for her in Heaven with her parents were her sister, Joni Carnillo; brother-in-law, Ron Mitchell; and nephew, Dennis Acosta.

Delores is a graduate of Central High School. She retired from Colorado State University- Pueblo, where she was the Administrative Assistant to the President of Budget and Finance. Lollie will forever be remembered by her devotion to the Lord and passion for athletics, especially contests including her family members. She is survived by her children, Anthony (Shonie) and Mandi (Tina) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Jaylen and Kaden; sisters, Phyllis, Katherine (Nick), Annie, Abbie (Rick), and Shanda. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces who have many fond memories of her.

Her services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Pueblo Christian Center.
