Dollie “Combs” Pickerel went home on November 6, 2017, departing from Pueblo, Colorado. She was 85. Dollie was born on September 5, 1932 in Pritchett, CO, to her parents, Arcu and Gladys, as the sixth of nine children. She was preceded by husband, Walter Pickerel, who passed away in 2004. She dedicated her life to educating and caring for all her grandchildren, as well as being a spiritual beacon in both her family and community.
Dollie is survived by all four of her children, Ron (Ann) Winfrey, Vicki (Dale) Coleman, Janis (Jess) Cano, and Kelly Martin. She is also survived by Walter’s children, Ross (Tamara) Pickerel and Mark (Teri) Pickerel, as well as seventeen grandchildren, as well as two of her siblings, Wesley (Colleen) Combs, and Melvin (Carol) Combs.
Funeral Service will be held at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home at 10:00 on November 10, 2017, followed by Interment at Mountain View Cemetery.
