Donald Marvin Wright

Donald M. Wright, 89, passed away on March 17, 2025. He graduated from Central High School in 1954. He was a proud Army Veteran. Donald was the mailroom manager for the Pueblo Chieftain for over 30 years. He enjoyed baseball and will be remembered for the love he had for his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mildred Wright; son, David M. Short (Tammy). Survived by his ex-wife and lifelong partner, Lorraine; children, Diane (Edward) Breece and Don (Chip) Wright; grandchildren, Dawn King (David Brown), Mike (Vivian) Breece, Shawna (Justin) Bonham, Shyla Wright, Danielle Gilliam and Mikayla Short; great-grandchildren, Payten, Brooklynn, Addy, Tyler, Zoey, Lucas, Parker and Penny; and extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Fellowship of the Rockies Church, 3892 W. Northern Ave., Pueblo, CO 81005.
