Eddie Lorean Clark, a devoted wife, loving mother, and the heart of her family, passed away surrounded by those who cherished her. Eddie’s life was defined by kindness, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the people she loved. Her generous spirit and selfless nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Eddie was the beloved wife of Donald Clark, with whom she shared 70 years of love and partnership. Donald often called her “the sweetest thing this side of Christmas,” a term of endearment that always made her blush. She was a proud and dedicated mother to her children—Ivan Clark (deceased), Richard Clark and his wife Cindy, and her daughter Brendyl and son-in-law Ronald. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into each generation that followed.
She was a cherished grandmother to Courtney, Whitney, Cameron, Aimee, Donald (wife Megan) and Tasha. Eddie also delighted in her role as a great-grandmother, blessing two great-grandchildren Brynlee and Brooklynn who brought her immeasurable happiness.
Eddie is survived by her loving sister, Edna Kitchen and her husband Edward, and sisters-in-law, Mary Whitaker and Theresa Patton, as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews who admired her warmth, love, and steady presence.
Eddie joins in glory her loving brothers John Paul and Herald.
Her legacy is one of love, selflessness, and deep family devotion. Eddie’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her influence will echo through the many lives she touched.
May her beautiful spirit rest in peace.
