
Eleanor A. Roberts, 87, passed away May 11, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Roberts; parents, Hjalmar and Edith L. Anderson; and her brother, Gene Anderson. Survived by her children, Debra (Gregory) Clem, Denver; Karen (Wayne) Boroughs, Ft. Collins, CO; and Susan McTavish, Pueblo; Grandchildren, Heather (Nathan) Oswalt, Denver; Jason (Sarah) Clem, Denver; Travis McTavish and Kayla McTavish, both of Pueblo; great-grandson, Hunter Oswalt; brother, Bernard (Eleanor) Anderson, Kirkland, WA; sister, Enis Hughes, Grand Junction, CO; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Eleanor was raised in Leadville, CO. She was a teacher and school librarian in School District 70 for many years. Eleanor loved to crochet and sew and was a very loving and devoted mother. She also sang with the Pueblo Chorale Society for many years. Eleanor was very involved with Christ Congregational Church and played the piano and organ there and was the director of the handbell choir for several years. Cremation, with a memorial service 2 p.m. Sun. at Christ Congregational Church, 1003 Liberty Lane. Donations in her memory may be made to Sol Amor Hospice through the funeral home. The family especially thank Pueblo Care and Rehab and Sol Amor Hospice.
