She held several officer positions in various organizations. She served as a precinct judge for many years and an active member of Mount Carmel Church until she moved to Holy Family. Her activities at Mount Carmel included being an lector, Eucharistic minister and choir member. Volunteer service and caring for others was a joy to Esther and she lived a life surrounded by many close friends. Special recognition to Kathryn Killeen and her family; Tomasita Garcia (deceased) but her daughters never forgot Esther. Special blessings to grandsons, Mark Madrid and Mario Gonzales, for their caring and close relationship to their grandmother. They brought much joy to her life. Thanks to Dr. Stjernhom whose patient care and assistance to Esther and her family is greatly appreciated. She had many lifelong friends through her church activities. She had a kind and generous spirit and reached out to several individuals. Her kindness, her smile, her warmth and daily prayers for her family will be truly missed.
