Eufracia Ramirez

Eufracia M. “Flossie” Ramirez, 86, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was born to Demetrio and Gregorita Montoya on June 3, 1928 in Miera, NM, who preceded her in death as well as 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Ramirez; son, LeRoy Arellano and son-in-law, Robert Villegas. She is survived by her sons, John (Mairina) Arellano, Orlando (Martha) Ramirez; daughters, Dolores Villegas , Geri (Cris) Armijo; sisters, Stella Elkins, Luga Montoya; many nieces, nephews and other family members; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Flossie was a cosmetologist and very talented. She knew how to play the guitar and keyboard. She also would crochet beautiful blankets and gave them to the seniors of our community. She volunteered for 31 years with the Pueblo County and just recently was recognized and given a plaque in recognition. She learned the computer and could text with the best of them remembering everyone’s birthdays and special occasions.
