

On August 4, 1953 an angel was born Floyetta Lee Currington Peaker. On January 6, 2017 our angel went to be with the Lord. Floyetta was born and raised in Pueblo, CO, at the age of 23 years old she moved to Aurora, CO where she stayed until she was 63 years young, returning to live in Pueblo, CO.
Proceeded in death by her parents, Newton and Leester Currington, and her two brothers, Larry Crayton and Jerry Lee.
Survived by her twin daughters Franchetta and Andretta Peaker and her grandson Stephan Peaker - Aurora/Pueblo, CO. Also survived by sister Dolly Durden - Conway, AR, sister Major Novella Currington - Leesville, LA, sister Myra Currington - Pueblo, CO, brother James Currington - Pueblo, CO, sister Phyllis Currington Fallon - Pueblo, CO, aunt Marie Green - Pueblo, CO, aunt Ella Currington - Pueblo, CO, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from all over the world.
Floyetta retired from Kaiser Permanente after 28 years of service. She loved reading and studying the Bible, and spreading the Lords word. She went to Calvary Temple Church in Denver, CO. She also loved spending time with her daughters, and grandson the were like the four musketeers.
Floyetta was a daddy’s girl she loved talking about her daddy. She would sit for hours talking about growing up and her family. She loved her family very much from being a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, mother, and grammy her family meant the world to her. She was very protective rather you were family, friend, or someone she just met she would do everything in her power to help you. She loved the out doors from walking in the park, and the 16th St Mall in downtown Denver. To going to Red Rocks and Mountains all over. She loved working in the yard, singing, cooking, drawing, and just having fun, living life to the fullest she was always the life of the party.
When you met Floyetta you met a friend she was and will always be a ray of sunshine. Floyetta will be sadly missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
