Georgette Michele Beggs

Georgette M. Beggs, 68, of Pueblo West, was born on February 16th, 1950 in San Francisco, California and passed away peacefully in her home on April 20th, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado. Georgette was preceded in death by her parents Mike and Martha Vincenti; sisters June (Nick) Papadakis and Linda (Greg) Dorsey. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John Beggs; children Michael (Candice) Beggs and Brittney (Lance) Allen; sister Barbara (Chuck) Woodman; grandchildren Ashlee Beggs, Cooper Beggs, Kailey Mikkelson, Jeff Mikkelson and Gianni Beggs; step grandchildren Austin (Morghan) Allen, Alora Allen, Leroy Newman, Hope Newman, and Leroy "Archie" Newman. Georgette is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, along with her special friends Aggie (Larry) Orr, Frank (Sherry) Major, and Kelly (Randy) Thompson; even the family dog Peanut- who never left "grandma's" bedside. She worked at The Deli from 1976 until her retirement in 2012. She loved her job and business, and all of the downtown customers who came to see her. Georgette liked to spend time on the family boat, watching her granddaughter Kailey's gymnastics competitions, and traveling. Georgette was a stubborn and quick witted woman, but she had a heart of gold. She always wanted to help everyone she met throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. The family would like to thank the team at Frontier Hospice with a very special thank you to Annie and Carrie. The family will be receiving guests on Friday, April 27th from 4pm-7pm at 283 W. Elgin Dr. in Pueblo West. This is a casual event just as Georgette would have wanted.
